Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
The majority of robot vacuums and mops can be customized using an application that allows you to save maps of your home, set cleaning schedules and select mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power and fine-tune the amount of water and scrubbing action your mop uses.
A mapping function can help your robot navigate through rooms. An obstacle avoidance feature will stop it from running into furniture, wires or even stray toys. These features are essential in my house filled with toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the top-of-the-line vacuum and mop, is loaded with features. It can mop and sweep in a single session and can lift its brushes and mop pads to stop soft surfaces from becoming wet. It also can detect and avoid obstacles, with the ability to identify pet toys plants, small objects.
The robot vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals which is more than any other robot vacuum we've tested to date. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation that tracks its location, which prevents it from getting stuck on objects.
Mopping capabilities are also impressive and features the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of more than 6 Newtons to the mop pad to provide an intense clean. It also comes with a mop lifter system that lifts the pad automatically as it is able to switch between tile, laminate or hardwood flooring, as well as carpet or rugs, in order to avoid soaking soft surfaces.
In addition to this, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying functions. The pad is capable of rinsing and drying in the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. You can set it to forget about it. You only need to replenish the water tank or replace the dust bag on occasion.
All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I ran it on its normal vac and mop settings for approximately 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to run low on power and then return to its base to recharge. This isn't too far from the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is at par other hybrids I've tested.
It's a comprehensive, reliable product. The only issue is that it's pricey. The sheer amount of features make it an appealing choice for anyone who is looking to replace their old mops and stick vacuums. We would highly recommend this vacuum when you can justify the cost.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an expensive combination. Its high-end price is justified by its robust features, which include an impressive vacuuming capacity as well as two gyrating mops. It has an app-enabled smart controller and an advanced obstacle-avoidance system.
The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros which is one of the highest robotic vacuum and mop combinations available. In my tests, it performed very well across the home. It was able to eliminate 98.4% debris on all kinds of floors and was able to lift long hair without tangling. The mops were also great in delivering outstanding cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models, thanks to their rotational motion and a strong dose of cleaning solution.
However, the L10S Ultra's main selling point is its innovative docking station that is multi-functional. The docking station emptys the trash bin into a bag to collect dirt, refills the water tank to use for mopping and even dries your mop pads. It has a real-time hazards detection system, and its intelligent controls allow you to schedule periodic cleaning sessions.
Contrary to the other hybrid mops I tried The L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris removal on carpets. The mops in the L10S Ultra aren't as effective at removing stubborn staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra’s high-end features, it still requires regular maintenance. Its base station has to be cleaned out as well as the dustbag and water tanks should be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly to prevent mildew and unpleasant odors. The mop pads that are sold separately will also need to be changed periodically.
With the L10S Ultra's pricey cost and robust features I would recommend it to anyone who has the budget for it. If you're on a budget, I recommend a more basic model that lets you to save money and enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. It's important to note that even if the L10S Ultra is the best robotic vacuum and mop combination you can buy, its high purchase cost and constant maintenance will eventually make it more of a desire than a necessity.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop you need to clean up messes and remove dirt from your floors. This powerful robovac/mop set-up comes with a powerful suction power of 8,000 Pa. It also has an enormous battery capacity that can be used for both mopping and vacuuming. It's also fitted with an excellent obstacle-avoidance system. It has a mop with a roller that cleans itself and makes it stand out from other models which require you to return to the base station to wash the mop pad.
The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is different from the spinning discs and microfibre pads that are found on other robots. The roller covers the entire width of the robot and is constantly dosed with ozonated, clean water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while collecting dirt. Dry debris is picked up with the side brushes, or swept into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro removes the dirty mop water in its base station where it is sucked by the tank's heater elements and it is emptied into a bigger storage container. The tank that is onboard can hold a substantial amount of water and can handle up to half a dozen mopping sessions before rushing out.
The S1 Pro comes ready to use out of the package as do other robotic vacuums/mops. The S1 Pro needs to be refilled with clean water. This can be done using the cleaning dock. If you'd like to make use of your own cleaner, you can add cleaning solution to the dock. However, if you do choose to use this feature you'll have to purchase the branded cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow you to use your personal cleaner of choice.
Like most robots that are available, the S1 Pro did well in the area of coverage and navigation efficiency. It was quick to map out a space and moved around furniture. auto vacuum is that it was stuck a few times on longer pile carpets and rugs in my tests however this could be improved when the software is updated. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that provides a lot of functionality at an affordable price.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's entry level vacuum and mop but it does have several impressive features. Its multi-function dock drains the robot's dirtbag and replenishes its water tanks, while washing and sanitizing the mop pads as it moves. The mopping system is able to clean a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's powerful suction is perfect for picking up pet hair and other debris from carpets.
The software that runs the appliance is dense, and offers a variety of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can manually clean all areas that this device maps or select individual rooms, zones that can be expanded, or a custom routine you've designed. There are several mopping options that include SmartPlan -an algorithm that makes use of the sensors on the mops to find the most efficient way to clean your home as it maps the area.
Like all Roborock models we've tested like all the Roborock models we've tested, the Qrevo performs well in our tests. Its navigation system is solid that can quickly map rooms and cleaning them in an organized fashion. The 'Normal" pathing option covers a room well, without any major gaps or missed areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is quite reliable, too although it's not as advanced as the color camera system on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can spot dangers like thick carpets, but it may not always detect small things like rug tassels or electrical wires.
One of the biggest flaws of this machine is the lack of a mop after vacuum option, which could be an issue for those who spend a lot of time vacuuming before cleaning their robot. There's a simple solution to this issue: the app offers a feature that allows you to "clean up", at the end of every vacuuming session. You can use the vacuum's mopping capabilities to remove the dust and dirt that remained after vacuuming. It's a nice touch, and it helps the robot to make its clean better than its less expensive competitors.
